This safari to Mikumi National Park offers the perfect short wildlife adventure. It begins with a flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi, where you will meet Nitoursandsafaris and embark on an exciting game drive through the park’s picturesque plains, home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and many other animals. In the afternoon, after a picnic lunch and a game drive, you will spend the night in a comfortable lodge in or near the park. Early the next morning, the second day begins with a game drive when the wildlife is at its most active, followed by breakfast, before you return to the airstrip for your return flight, with wonderful memories and plenty of photos in your luggage.

You will be picked up from your accommodation in Zanzibar and taken to Abeid Amani Karume Airport for your domestic flight to Mikumi. Upon arrival, nitoursandsafaris will welcome you and give you a brief briefing before you set off on your first exciting game drive. Explore the park’s breathtaking landscapes and observe wildlife in its natural habitat, from elephants and giraffes to zebras and antelopes. A picnic lunch with soft drinks will be served around midday. Continue your game drive into the late afternoon and enjoy the breathtaking scenery before checking into your comfortable accommodation for the night.
You’ll start with an early morning game drive to observe the wildlife at its most active and capture unforgettable views of the park in the soft morning light. You’ll then return to your lodge to enjoy a hearty breakfast and check out. You’ll subsequently be transferred to the airport to catch your domestic flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume Airport, you will be met by nitoursandsafaris and comfortably transferred back to your accommodation.
