The safari continues with a full day exploring the park before heading to Ngorongoro, where a spectacular game drive in the crater awaits, offering excellent chances of spotting the ‘Big Five’. The trip concludes with a return flight to Zanzibar, rounding off an unforgettable short safari adventure in northern Tanzania.

From your hotel in Zanzibar, you’ll head to Arusha Airport, where you’ll travel to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its huge herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees.
After lunch, you’ll set off on your first exciting game drive, where you can spot lions, giraffes, zebras and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. As the sun sets over the savannah, you’ll check into your comfortable lodge or tented camp in or near the park and enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.
Get up early and enjoy a delicious breakfast before setting off for a day of game viewing in Tarangire National Park. You will be guided to the park’s hotspots, where the wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River. Spend the morning watching elephants, lions and other big game, followed by a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness. The afternoon game drive continues, offering fantastic photo opportunities as the golden light illuminates the savannah. Return to your accommodation in the late afternoon to relax, enjoy dinner and share stories of the day’s unforgettable sightings.
After breakfast, you will drive towards the world-famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will drive down into the impressive Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive led by nitoursandsafaris, where the density of wildlife is unrivalled, with lions, hippos, rhinos and wildebeest roaming freely across the lush crater floor.
