Early in the morning, you will set off from Dar es Salaam and travel by SGR (Standard Gauge Railway) train to Morogoro, where you can enjoy a comfortable and scenic journey. Upon arrival at Morogoro station, you will continue your journey to Mikumi National Park (approx. 1.5 hours). In the afternoon, you will embark on an exciting game drive through the wildlife-rich Mkata floodplain of Mikumi National Park. Spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and many other animals as you explore the park. You will spend the night at a lodge in Mikumi.
ACCOMMODATION:
Mikumi Cottages
You’ll spend the whole day admiring the diverse landscapes and wildlife of Mikumi National Park. Enjoy game drives in the morning and afternoon, and visit areas such as the Mkata floodplain, a hotspot for interactions between predators and prey.
On the way, stop for a picnic in the park. You’ll spend the night at the lodge.
You will leave Mikumi after breakfast and drive to Saadani National Park (approx. 6 hours). Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will go on a game drive in Saadani National Park and check into your accommodation near the park.
Relax and enjoy the unique coastal landscape of Saadani, where wildlife can be seen right on the beach.

In the morning, you’ll go on a final game drive in Saadani, where you may spot elephants, buffalo and even lions near the coast. Return to your lodge for breakfast, then head back to Dar es Salaam.
