You’ll have the exciting opportunity to visit the most beautiful parks in northern Tanzania. These include the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park, where you can spot all of the ‘Big Five’. You’ll also visit Tarangire National Park, renowned for its huge elephant population, and the Ngorongoro Crater, where there’s a good chance of spotting the ‘Big Five’ in a single day. Finally, you’ll end your safari on the beautiful shores of Lake Manyara, famous for its flamingos and tree-climbing lions, which are unique to this region.

After breakfast, you will drive through the Masai savannah to Tarangire National Park. This national park is renowned for its majestic baobab trees and large herds of elephants, and offers a wide variety of wildlife sightings, including lions, giraffes and various species of antelope. You will go on a game drive in the afternoon before settling in at your lodge for the evening.

As you drive through the picturesque Karatu highlands and stop at a traditional Maasai village to immerse yourself in the local culture and way of life. The journey continues to Serengeti National Park, which you will enter via the Naabi Hill Gate. Embark on a game drive on your way to your lodge in the Seronera region, the park’s wildlife-rich heartland.
Early in the morning, set off on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. Experience the famous Great Migration (seasonal) and keep an eye out for the ‘Big Five’ on the vast plains. Enjoy a picnic in the heart of the wilderness and return to your lodge at sunset.
After the morning game drive, you will set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will arrive at your lodge, which is situated on the rim of the crater and offers panoramic views of the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.
Head deep into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is home to a dense population of wildlife, including the rare black rhinoceros. After a picnic lunch, you will make your way back to Arusha, bringing your safari adventure to a close.
