Your adventure begins with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its huge herds of elephants, its landscape dotted with baobab trees, and its diverse wildlife. Join an afternoon game drive and observe zebras, giraffes and predators in their natural habitat. Round off the day in comfort at Marera Valley Lodge, surrounded by picturesque views and the sounds of the African bush.
After breakfast, we head to the southern Serengeti, to the Ndutu region, the heart of the wildebeest calving season. On the way, enjoy the vast, open plains and the thrill of spotting wildlife. Upon arrival, you’ll witness the spectacle of the migrating herds and predators. You’ll spend the night at Canopy Migration Camp, which is ideally situated for excellent game viewing.
Now you can spend a whole day exploring Ndutu, where thousands of wildebeest give birth to their calves and predators abound, which can also lead to dramatic wildlife encounters. nitoursandsafaris will take you to the best vantage points to spot newborn calves, lions, cheetahs and hyenas. The day begins with a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions, its lake teeming with flamingos, and its diverse wildlife. Afterwards, you’ll head back to Arusha. Along the way, you’ll stop off to enjoy the picturesque views. You will spend the night at the "Under The Shade Safari Lodge", a cosy retreat that is perfect for relaxing and reflecting on your adventure.
To round off your trip, visit the breathtaking Materuni Falls, nestled in the heart of the lush rainforest near Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a walk through coffee plantations, along wild trails and to the roaring waterfalls before being transferred to the airport.
