Details

At the airport, you will be met by Nitoursandsafaris and taken to Arusha, where you will spend the rest of your stay. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool or exploring the city of Arusha.

ACCOMMODATION:

Tumbili Lodge
After a briefing in the morning and a drive of around two hours, you will reach Tarangire National Park. Huge baobab trees, bush savannah and seasonal swamps all contribute to the fascination of this nature reserve. Tarangire National Park is considered one of the best places to observe elephants at close quarters – not only because there are thousands of these animals there, but also because they are not disturbed by the presence of vehicles. The park is also home to buffalo, zebras and wildebeest, which are constantly pursued by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are occasionally spotted, whereas cheetahs are rarely seen. From the open roof of the safari vehicle, you can take in the landscape and observe the animals. In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and drive to the lodge where you will spend the night.

ACCOMMODATION:

Tarangire Elephant Lodge
After breakfast, you will drive from the Tarangire area to Lake Manyara National Park. The park is home to over 400 species of birds, forests inhabited by primates, and grassy plains. A large part of the park is taken up by the alkaline Lake Manyara, a seasonal breeding ground for large colonies of flamingos and many other waterbirds. The park is also home to giraffes, hippos, wildebeest, impalas and groups of noisy monkeys and baboons. After an extensive game drive, you will drive to the lodge where you will spend the night.

ACCOMMODATION:

Manyara Lakeview Oasis
After an early breakfast, You will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports avast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here. Late afternoon drive to the lodge for overnight.

ACCOMMODATION:

Naserian Safari Camp
Today we set off for the Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful highland fields of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We leave the highlands behind and enter the Serengeti National Park, the heart of wild Africa with its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. We then head to the central part of the park, known as the Seronera area, one of the most species-rich habitats in the park. Here lies the Seronera River, which is a vital water source for this region and therefore attracts wildlife representative of most species found in the Serengeti. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park. You will spend two full days in various locations and at different times of day searching for wildlife of all kinds, which will provide you with the best travel experience in Tanzania.
