On arrival at Arusha Airport, nitoursandsafaris will welcome you and take you to your hotel in Arusha. After a short rest, you will enjoy a leisurely city tour, taking in key sights such as the Maasai Market, the Arusha Clock Tower and the Natural History Museum. You will also have the opportunity to visit local cafés or a cultural centre to discover Tanzanian arts and crafts. In the evening, you will return to your hotel for dinner and to rest before your safari begins.

After breakfast at your lodge, you will drive to Tarangire National Park (a packed lunch is included), where you will go on a game drive. This beautiful park is home to the world’s largest elephant population and the highest number of breeding bird species. Tarangire National Park is teeming with wildlife, particularly during the dry season. Big cats such as lions, cheetahs and leopards, as well as the rarely seen kudus, oryx and gerenuks. The Tarangire River attracts huge herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles, as well as the predators lying in wait for them. After the game drive, you will head to your accommodation, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
Your accommodation is the Manyara Best View Lodge, set amidst colourful and exotic gardens, and offers a perfect base for visiting the northern parks of Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti.

After breakfast, you will take a walking tour of the farming village of Mto wa Mbu. This village is unique in Tanzania, as it is home to over 120 different tribes from across Africa, creating a colourful mix of customs. nitoursandsafaris will take you to rice and banana plantations, a local brewery, a school and a woodcarving workshop. Experience the traditional way of life of the villagers. Then it’s on to Lake Manyara National Park, just a short drive from Mto wa Mbu. It is famous for its vast soda lake teeming with pink flamingos, a large population of baboons, incredible birdlife and breathtaking views. You can spot giraffes, elephants, hippos, buffalo, zebras and flamingos, and with a bit of luck you might even spot a tree-climbing lion. After the game drive, you’ll return to your accommodation to relax, where a delicious dinner and overnight stay await you.
This morning you will drive to the famous Serengeti National Park. On the way, you will stop at a Maasai village to gain an insight into the way of life of these graceful warriors. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you will first enjoy a picnic and then set off on an impressive game drive. Between June and September, there is a good chance you will be able to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration as the herds cross the Mara River in this part of the Serengeti. The herds must outwit the crocodiles and the raging waters before facing the predators waiting on the other side. A thrilling spectacle. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the beautiful Serengeti Ark Safari Lodge Kogatende North Serengeti.
Get up early to spend a whole day following the herds across the plains and exploring the Great Migration. Morning and afternoon game drives in the North Serengeti National Park with an early departure in search of active predators and other wildlife. Among the wildlife that can be spotted in the area are prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, crocodiles, hippos, elephants, giraffes, black rhinos, topis, hartebeests and many more.
One of the best places to observe the wildebeest migration is the Mara River. It flows through Kenya and Tanzania and lies directly on the migration route of numerous animals in the Masai Mara and Serengeti National Parks. It is also an important part of the river system that supplies the region with water. Culinary delights, rest and relaxation await you, whilst your thoughts wander over the sights and sounds of the day.

After a hearty breakfast, set off for the central Serengeti. The 4–5-hour drive to the centre offers occasional wildlife sightings along the way. The journey south from the Mara River Valley takes you through hilly terrain, the Lobo area, wooded areas and finally back to the Seronera region. The central part, the Seronera area, is one of the park’s most species-rich habitats. As you enter this region, you will notice how the hilly and rugged terrain gives way to flat grasslands. Here, you should keep a particular lookout for the many prides of lions that inhabit this region. The coexistence and survival of these lion prides offer an excellent wildlife viewing experience all year round. A picnic lunch is served around midday. The eventful day concludes with a sumptuous dinner and a restful night’s sleep at your accommodation, where culinary delights, peace and relaxation await us.

After a hearty breakfast, you will set off on a game drive. You will leave the Serengeti on a game drive to explore the central part of the Serengeti National Park today, as you head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The legendary Serengeti National Park is the most famous safari destination, renowned for its incredible populations of lions and leopards. The central part, known as the Seronera area, is one of the most species-rich wildlife habitats in the park. The Seronera River flows through here, providing a vital water source for the area and thus attracting wildlife representative of most Serengeti species. Outside the migration season, keep a particular lookout for the many lion prides that inhabit this region. The coexistence and survival of these lion prides offer an excellent wildlife viewing experience all year round. In addition to a picnic lunch during the full-day game drive in the evening. We are very flexible in accommodating your wishes, and on this day we will undertake another full-day game drive. As the Serengeti is vast and expansive, we can explore different areas and observe animals, and if you are lucky, you may even witness events such as hunting or fights between animals. Later, after this wonderful tour full of memories, we begin our game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, we can observe various species of animals and birds. Upon our arrival at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we have dinner and spend the night at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

After a hearty breakfast, you will set off with a packed lunch and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will spend the whole day on a game drive. The 600-metre-deep caldera leads you down into the crater, where you will go on a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a vast floor area of around 260 km² and a depth of over 600 metres. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and offers fourteen kilometres of unspoilt nature. The Ngorongoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes, and the floor, dotted with waterholes, is home to around 30,000 animals. The game drive on the crater floor will reveal a wealth of wildlife. Keep your camera or mobile phone to hand to capture unique shots. As the Ngorongoro Crater is compact, you can observe many different animals and birds in a short space of time. African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs and lions are abundant. In the afternoon, you will leave the crater and drive to Arusha to conclude our tour, or you will be taken directly to the airport to catch your flight to your next destination.
