You will fly from Zanzibar to Mikumi. You will enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the Tanzanian coastline, the turquoise waters and the lush landscape. nitoursandsafaris will provide you with comprehensive information about the park, the wildlife you are likely to see, the safety regulations and the itinerary for the game drive. Mikumi National Park is renowned for its incredible biodiversity, which includes elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, impalas, buffalo and numerous bird species. nitoursandsafaris will guide you through various areas of the park and show you the animals’ behaviour, the flora and the ecosystem. You’ll have plenty of time to take photos and observe the animals up close, making the most of the early morning hours when the animals are most active. Around midday, we stop at a designated picnic area in the park, where you can enjoy your packed lunch of fresh, locally prepared food and non-alcoholic drinks. Whilst you eat, you can soak up the peaceful atmosphere of the park, surrounded by nature, and reflect on the wildlife you’ve spotted during the morning. In the late afternoon, it is time to leave the park. You will be taken back to Mikumi Airstrip, from where you will board your domestic flight back to Zanzibar. On arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred from Abeid Amani Karume International Airport back to your hotel.
