You will be picked up by Nitoursandsafaris in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. During the journey to the spice farm, enjoy the scenic drive through Zanzibar’s lush countryside. Upon arrival, Nitoursandsafaris will guide you around the farm. This is an interactive tour where you can see, smell and taste a variety of spices and fruits. You will learn about the cultivation and use of spices such as cloves, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon, which have played a significant role in the history of Zanzibar. Take part in hands-on activities such as peeling, grinding and smelling the fresh spices. You will also have the chance to taste exotic tropical fruits such as jackfruit, star fruit and much more. The tour includes a visit to a local spice shop, where you can buy fresh spices and natural products as souvenirs. After lunch, we’ll drive to Stone Town, the historic centre of Zanzibar City and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the way, you’ll get a glimpse of local life and the architecture.
