At Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), you will receive a warm welcome from nitoursandsafaris. After being given a few bottles of mineral water, you will be transferred to your accommodation. There, you will have some free time to acclimatise and relax at your own pace. Dinner will be served here, and you will also spend the night here.

Tarangire National Park covers a hilly area of 2,850 km², characterised by open woodland dotted with hundreds of majestic baobab trees, and is home to an enormous variety of animal and plant species. The park is best known for its large herds of elephants and a surprisingly large number of wildebeest and zebras, which roam freely across the woodland areas and along the Tarangire River, after which the park is named. Buffalo, giraffes, fringed-ear oxys, impalas, mongooses, hartebeests, crocodiles and hippos are also native to this conservation area. Lions are frequently sighted, and wild dogs, cheetahs, hyenas and leopards can sometimes be spotted. Tarangire is also an excellent spot for birdwatching, with more than 500 species recorded, including francolins, parrots, starlings, ostriches, hornbills and many more.

Early in the morning, you will leave the lodge with your packed lunches and drive to Lake Manyara, where you can go on game drives and spot wildlife. Lake Manyara National Park is a small, beautiful wildlife reserve at the foot of the Great Rift Valley. The park covers an area of approximately 325 km², with a large part of the area taken up by an alkaline lake, which serves as a food source for large flocks of flamingos and many waterbirds. The park is also home to a wide variety of bird species, including barbets, ibises, herons, spoonbills, weaver birds and many others. You will have lunch at the picnic area in the park and, after the game drives, be taken to Lake Eyasi, where you will have dinner and spend the night.
Today, discover and learn about the African cultures of the Hadzabe tribe and their neighbours, the Datoga. This includes traditional hunting, nature walks and learning about their historical, social and cultural backgrounds. The Hadzabe are an indigenous people who live in the central Rift Valley near Lake Eyasi. They continue to maintain their traditional way of life and ensure their survival through traditional hunting and gathering wild fruits. You will have the opportunity to learn more about their history, customs and way of life, including taking part in traditional hunts using bows and arrows and spears.
After spending time with the locals, you will drive to your lodge.

In the morning, you will go on game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater, taking packed lunches with you. Beneath the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater lies a vibrant ecosystem teeming with wildlife, including wildebeest, buffalo, hyenas, waterbuck, jackals, elephants, lions, zebras, leopards, hippos, baboons, mongooses and many other species. Hundreds of bird species, such as ostriches, starlings and eagles, can also be spotted. You will have lunch at the picnic site in the crater before continuing your game drive. Afterwards, you will climb the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, where you will relax, have dinner and spend the night.
