This national park is famous for its large herds of elephants and countless giant baobab trees. These trees can live for hundreds of years and even serve as a source of water for the elephants during the dry season, as the elephants have developed a special technique for sucking water from them. Furthermore, the Tarangire River is the only source of water during the dry season, which is why, at this time of year, you can spot groups of up to 250 elephants alongside many other animals in Tarangire!
Lake Manyara National Park lies between Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, right on the edge of the deep Great African Rift Valley. The park boasts a diverse landscape that attracts numerous animal species. For example, you can visit the lake, hike through a dense rainforest teeming with hundreds of monkeys and birds, observe elephants at close quarters in the woodland areas, and visit the famous Manyara hippo pool, where numerous hippos bathe from early morning until late evening.

Lake Natron, situated in northern Tanzania, just above the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is a place like no other. Known for its striking red hue, this alkaline lake is a photographer’s paradise. This is especially true from August to October, when thousands of flamingos turn the lake an even deeper shade of pink. The oppressive heat over the dry, dusty landscape, the mirror-smooth lake and the surrounding volcanic mountains create a rugged and bizarre beauty that you won’t forget in a hurry!

Lake Natron Camp
The Serengeti National Park is widely regarded as the best destination for safaris, mainly because of the Great Migration that takes place here. The vast, thundering herds are impressive, as is the large number of predators that live here. There are over 4,000 lions, 225 cheetahs, 1,000 leopards, 3,500 hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs! And, of course, many other beautiful animals that nitoursandsafari would love to help you spot. Unique, exciting moments that will stay with you forever!

The famous Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s seven natural wonders. The crater was formed two million years ago by the eruption of a massive volcano. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, which today boasts the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa! As soon as you enter the crater, you are surrounded by thousands of animals such as lions, zebras, buffalo and black rhinos, and the view is breathtaking.

Mvuli Lodge Ngorongoro
The Empakaai Crater lies about 40 kilometres north-east of its famous big brother, the Ngorongoro Crater. Here, you feel as though you have reached the end of the world. From the crater rim, it takes about 45 minutes to hike down to the lake at the bottom of the crater. A pink hue greets you, as the lake is often covered in flocks of flamingos. But the view from the crater rim is also breathtaking, as on clear days you can even see the majestic Ol Donyo Lengai.
A visit to Lake Eyasi and the Hadzabe tribe who live there makes for a fascinating excursion. This lake is a seasonal, shallow salt lake south of the Ngorongoro Highlands and a paradise for birdwatchers. Watch hippos in the shallow water, then grab your binoculars to spot African spoonbills, flamingos, grey-headed gulls, pink pelicans and black-and-white avocets. Afterwards, visit the Hadzabe Bushmen, masters of bow hunting.
