LODGE SAFARIS

These safaris are designed for travellers who wish to experience Tanzania’s wilderness in comfort and at a leisurely pace. During the day, you’ll be out in the bush exploring Tanzania’s wilderness, and in the evening and at night you’ll enjoy all the amenities your lodge has to offer.
After an exciting day of game drives, wildlife spotting and nature experiences, you return to your lodge, where you are welcomed with a drink and can settle into your private room. Enjoy a sundowner and get ready for dinner.
Unlike a hotel, which usually consists of a single building, a lodge comprises several separate huts or tents. The main building is centrally located. Here you will find a restaurant, a bar, sometimes even a small souvenir shop and a swimming pool. The guest rooms, including the bathrooms, are situated in separate, smaller buildings or cottages and are sometimes just a short walk from the main building. Lodges vary greatly in size and number of rooms; therefore, their atmosphere and ambience may remind you more of a guesthouse.
